Two suggestions for your next effort: lower the background audio. Provide a 1 sec lead and out so that the transitions don't "eat" the first and last words of the commentaries.
I think that this was a great idea for a video. I like the fact that there were so many students willing to give their sentences. I do, however, wish I could have heard everyone's entire sentence. Keep up the good work!
